BANGALORE, Nov 5: Hospet-based MSPL Limited of the Baldota Group today announced it hadreceived its third vessel from Taizhou Sanfu Shipyard in China.
MSPL, in a release here, said MSPL Diamond had placed orders with the shipyard for four post Panamax bulk carrier vessel of 92,500 DWT.
MSPL Diamond, a subsidiary of MSPL, had already received two vessels and took delivery of the third yesterday at Jiangsu province in China.
In his address, Mr Rahul Kumar Baldota, Executive Director of MSPL said the addition of the third vessel to MSPL Diamond’s fleet was a testimony of its commitment to the customers in constant value addition.
‘Our venture into the shipping is continuously being strengthened’ he said adding the current state of dry bulk carriers was still at its lowest.
The company was seeing the tide turning with the economies of China and India resolutely, boosting domestic consumption and thrust on infrastructure augmentation. ‘We are optimistic that 2013 will begin with recovery and will move towards stable dry bulk markets,’MSPL Chairman and Managing Director Narendrakumar AS Baldota said (UNI)
