JAMMU, Sept 14: Jammu University Students Cultural Council 2017-18 has been  constituted with the unopposed election of Anjali Sharma of Department of Geography as the Cultural Secretary.
Kanika Sharma from the Department of Chemistry and Pallvi Kunwer from the Department of Library & Information Sciences were  declared as Joint Secretaries unopposed.
This team is the representative of all the departmental cultural secretaries of the University of Jammu.
Under the guidance of Campus Cultural Committee, the Student Cultural Council will undertake various measures for the successful implementation of cultural and literary activities at the University of Jammu.
Dean Students Welfare, Prof  Satnam Kour wished  the newly elected, all-girls team, a  success in upcoming cultural events of the University of Jammu as the Student Cultural Council will bring vibrancy in the cultural and literary scenario of the University through various student-managed programmes to be conducted by the Department of Students Welfare this year.
Prof  S K  Pandita, Chairman Campus Cultural Committee also complemented the team for being unanimously elected.
