UDHAMPUR, Sept 17: Burglars struck a Jammu and Kashmir Bank here at Shiv Nagar, late last night.
According to a police official, some unknown burglars late last night managed to enter into Jammu and Kashmir Bank, Branch Shiv Nagar and stole a Samsung Mobile phone.
He said that the matter came to light in the morning when the lock of the main gate of the Bank was found broken. “However, the burglars could only steal a mobile phone”, he added.
The official said that on the written complaint of Branch Head, Bishamber Singh, a case FIR No 435/2017 under Sections 457, 380 RPC was registered in this connection at police station Udhampur and investigations started.
