Increase CD ratio: DDC Kishtwar to banks

KISHTWAR, Sept 19: The Quarterly District Level Review Committee and District Level RSETI Advisory Committee meeting for the quarter ending June 2017 was held today under the chairmanship District Development Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana in DC office complex, here.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Yasir Balwan, LDO RBI, S.P Soni, DDM NABARD, Nikhil Sharma, Cluster Head The J & K Bank Ltd, Shashi Sharma, Director RSETI, M.Y. Bhat besides departmental heads of various line departments of the district.
Lead District Manager Ashok Kumar Bhat apprised the meeting about the achievements of banks viz a viz annual action plan targets for the quarter ending   June 2017. The main focus of the meeting was low CD ratio of the district which is far below the national and state averages respectively.
The District Development Commissioner advised the banks to increase the CD ratio. He also directed the Chief Agriculture Officer to take up the issue of KCC with ACR so that the maximum farmers are brought under its ambit.
The DDC also directed ACD Kishtwar and Director RSETI to coordinate so that RSETI is set up at old ACD office at an earliest. Besides, DDC also directed all the departments to ensure the achievement of targets under all Government sponsored schemes along with Aadhaar seeding of all the beneficiaries.
