UDHAMPUR, Sept 21: BJP held a meeting at its office here, today in which MLC Ashok Khajuria who has also been appointed, incharge of the Udhampur Legislative Assem-bly was the chief guest.
Hundreds of BJP workers, all five mandal heads, Morcha presidents, State general secretary Pawan Khajuria and other workers were present in the meeting.
Ashok Khajuria, in his address announced release of Rs 30 lakh from his CDF for the development of Udhampur Assembly, saying that while today there is a Coalition Government with the PDP in the State and BJP has no Legislator from Udhampur Assembly Segment but he will always be ready for development of this constituency and provide the funds whenever it is needed.
“I will release the funds from time to time from my CDF for the development of the constituency’’, he said.
He further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi , the country is proceeding on the path of progress. It is good for the country as well as the State. He said that he wants the development work which has been stopped at Udhampur should resume. Along with this, he addressed the present workers and said that they should avoid the leaders making false promises who are trying to hinder the progress of this constituency.
Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) general secretary, Pawan Khajuria told workers about BJP’s policies, saying that the only purpose of the Center or the State BJP is that every person in the society understands the policies of the BJP and contributes to the well-being of the society.
He also criticized the pubic representative who has failed to develop the constituency and said that people must ask him that how much money he has spent from the CDF and if he has not spent, then for what purpose he is conserving it.
Senior leader Somraj, district president Rakesh Gupta, Subhash Attari, Ramdas, Milkhiram, Vistaark Jugal Kishore, Chunni Lal Dogra, Mahesh Sharma, Karnal Singh, Veer Singh, Deepak Verma, Jagdish Chandra, BJYM state vice president Munish Khajuria, BJYM district president Akhil Prashar, Pavitar Singh, Om Parkash, Taj Ali, Yunis Ahmed, Bharati Sharma, Manik Prashar, Neelam Nargotra, Radha Devi, Prakasho Devi, Sansaro Devi, Anita, Geeta Devi, Narinder Singh and other workers were also present.
