JAMMU, Sept 21: A woman succumbed to her burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police spokesperson, a woman identified as Jyoti Devi (35) wife of Dinesh, a resident of Rajbagh, was shifted here at GMCH on September 16 after she suffered about 100% burn injuries in a mysterious fire incident at her residence.
However, the woman succumbed to her injuries last night. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was today handed over to her legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
