SRINAGAR, Sept 21: Srinagar Police busted a burglars’ gang by arresting its three members and recovered stolen property from them.
Police Station Soura received complaints regarding burglaries in the area and accordingly cases were registered. To nab the burglars, a team headed by SHO Soura was constituted and investigation was set into motion.
During the course of investigation, the team zeroed in on one Rabul Sardar, son of Wahab Sardar, resident of Razapur Bengal at present Ellahibagh Soura. During questioning, he revealed that he along with his associates Mohammad Sheikh, son of Abdul Sheikh, resident of Bali Ganga Bengal at present Ellahibagh and Mukhtar-ul-Rehman, son of Abdul Malik Sheikh, resident of New Delhi at present Ellahibagh are involved in many burglary cases.
On their instance, gold ornaments, copper utensils and electronic gadgets were recovered.
