Omar slams Pak PM for seeking UNSC resolution

SRINAGAR: Former Chief Minister and working president of National Conference (NC) Omar Abdullah today slammed at Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Abbasi for seeking implementation of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolution on Jammu and Kashmir issue.

“Clearly no one in his Government showed Mr Abbasi, the text of the UNSC resolution 47 of 1948 which states unequivocally that Pak withdraw from J&K first,” Mr Abdullah wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.

Mr Abdullah was responding to Mr Abbasi’ speech at an event organised by the Council on Foreign Relations in New York in which demanded the implementation of the UNSC resolution on Jammu and Kashmir. (AGENCIES)
