Mankotia criticizes BJP’s stand for talks with separatists

NAGROTA, Sept 22: Criticizing the stand taken by the BJP for talks with separatists, former MLA and NPP president Balwant Singh Mankotia today said that the statement by Ram Madhav has shown the mindset of ruling BJP, which seems to have decided to contest next election in alliance with separatists.
While addressing rallies at Kattal Battal, Khalesi, Jagti, Nagrota etc where JKNPP’s Haq-insaaf Yatra reached today, Mankotia criticized the present PDP-BJP and NC-Congress led previous Governments for doing nothing for the people of Nagrota constituency. “If condition of area adjacent to Jammu city is in such a dilapidated condition, one can imagine the areas of far flung Dacchan, Marwah and Gool Gulabgarh areas of hilly terrain, “he added.
NPP president said until carving out separate Jammu State, miseries being faced by people of Jammu region will not end and separate Jammu State is the only option to seek right and justice to end discrimination for holistic development of region.
Criticizing the statement of Ram Madhav that no pre-condition would be set for talks with separatists, Mankotia said his statement has shown the mindset of BJP and party has decided to contest next election with separatists.
Earlier, JKNPP president received a warm welcome at Nagrota constituency and people assured him to support the genuine cause.
