SRINAGAR, Nov 6: The employees of Forest Department today threatened to launch an agitation across the State in case the Government does not fulfill its demands.
The threat was issued on the first day of the four day strike call given by Jammu and Kashmir Forest Employees Federation in support of their demands. The employees of Forest Department assembled at their head office at Sheikh Bagh and warned the authorities of dire consequences in case their demands are not fulfilled.
Addressing the employees, Abdul Rashid Dar, president of the Federation said that the Government should implement Order 115 and issue orders of attachment of 34 officers who have been reverted after their promotion was cancelled.
