JAMMU, Sept 26: Suhasini Sudan Maheshwari, the IT engineer-turned-social activist, won the title of ‘Mrs Universe’ South-East Asia after which she got selected for the prestigious Mrs Universe’ 2017 pageant.

Mrs South East Asia-2017 is one of the most highly regarded beauty pageants for married women. Mrs South Asia 2017 is not just a beauty pageant but it’s a vision and a dream. In the grand finale held on April 25 in Gurugram, daughter of Jammu, Suhasini, won the title defeating nine other candidates in the final round.
While addressing media persons here today, Suhasini thanked people of Jammu and Kashmir for their overwhelming support throughout her Journey. She informed that her excellence in social work made her win this title.
She told media that after her marriage in Indore with Sankalp Maheshwari, currently working as Advisor to Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, she left her IT Engineer job and gave her time and efforts in helping the children with disabilities and helping them to be self sufficient in all walks of life. Suhasini told that her father, Dr Bipin Sudan, is also a social worker and has been extending his services as physician after been retired from District Hospital, Kathua.
Suhasini has been crowned with titles of Mrs Universe Humanity 2017, Mrs South East Asia Universe 2017, Mrs India Worldwide Runnerup 2016, Mrs India Worldwide Fashion Icon 2016, Mrs Madhya Pradesh Runnerup 2016, Mrs Madhya Pradesh Exotica 2016, Mrs Indore 2016, Mrs Indore Best Attitude 2016, Talent of Gwalior Woman Fashion Icon 2014 and Mrs Maheshwari Queen 2013.
