MENDHAR, Nov 6: A special team led by SDM and SDPO Mendhar today conducted extensive checking in Mendhar market and imposed fine of Rs 11,250 on the shopkeepers for defaults.
SDM Ranjit Singh and Sub Divisional Police Officer Amit Bhasin, assisted by Tehsildar Iqbal Singh, SHO Maroof Badana and TSO (CAPD) Abdul Qayoom, inspected establishment of many traders today and realized a fine of Rs 11,250 from them. Two domestic LPG cylinders of BP Company were also recovered from a Dhaba. They also issued warning to many traders and removed about half of dozen illegal encroachments with the help of staff.
