SDP condemns Govt’s ‘adhoc’ approach

SRINAGAR, Nov 6: Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP) has condemned the NC- led Coalition Government of its `adhoc’ approach towards the basic problems of the people.
Addressing party workers’ meeting here today, the SDP president Dr Darakhshan Andrabi alleged that with the shifting of Darbar to Jammu, the tough time for Kashmir people has started. She said suddenly the power supply has started deteriorating and the water supply also turned inadequate. She said the Government has failed to provide basic amenities to the people.
Dr Andrabi alleged that Government was working on ad hoc approach and there was no proper planning in sorting out the major issues of the public. She said the Government must shun its such like attitude. It was becoming unpopular due to its misdeeds. She said Government’s so called disaster management was merely on papers and in case of any natural calamity, it lacks preparedness. She urged the State Government to exert pressure on Central Government to provide concession on LPG cylinders in State.
