SAMBA, Nov 6: A pilgrim was knocked to death by an unidentified vehicle on Devak bridge near Vijaypur during last night.
A police spokesman said that a middle aged man who was going to Mata Vaishno Devi on bi-cycle was hit by an unknown vehicle during last mid night on Devak bridge on Jammu-Pathankote National Highway last night. A highway patrol of the police found man lying on the bridge and shifted him to Vijaypur accidental hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead. The body was sent to mortuary. A case was registered in this connection.
