JAMMU, Sept 30: Manwal and Nagrota police foiled bovines smuggling bids.
As per police sources, a team from Manwal Police Post during checking intercepted a truck and rescued 10 bovine animals. Police team also arrested one person.
Meanwhile, a team from Nagrota Police Station rescued 4 bovine animals from a Mahindra vehicle, while the accused managed to escape from the spot.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Jhajjar Kotli and Nagrota Police Stations and investigation started.
