JAMMU, Nov 7: Chief Engineer, System and Operation Wing, Jammu has informed that in order to replace the worn out span of Y-phase from Gantry structure to tower location No.1 of 220 KV Sarna-Hiranagar transmission line, there will be a shutdown of 220 KV Sarna-Hiranagar and Hiranagar-Gladni transmission lines on November 9, 2012 from 8 am to 12 noon.
During the shut down period the power supply to Kathua, Dayalachak, Hiranagar, Samba, Bishnah, Mahanpur and part of industrial area fed from Grid Station BB-II will be affected.
