JAMMU, Oct 2: Vishwakarma Temple Committee, Mishriwala was re-constituted in its general body meeting held under the chairmanship of Mangal Dass Verma.
The meeting was attended by all executive members from the surrounding areas of block Bhalwal and block Marh. Sashi Verma, president, Pradesh Vishwakarma Sabha, J&K (PVS), was also present.
After long deliberations, it was decided to dissolve the old body and framing of new body. Purshotam Chargotra of village Asharwan was unanimously elected as president and Lakhan Pal Salaria of village Garhi was elected as vice-president of the committee.
Chairman, Mangal Dass Verma, informed that other office bearers will be elected subsequently. He further informed that soon a free Library and Dispensary will be established in the Temple complex for which all the sections of the society have contributed.
Outgoing president, Sat Pal Verma, in his address, gave details of the work done by his team during his tenure.
