LONDON, Oct 3: Actor Nina Dobrev said she has always seen herself as a risk-taker.
The 28-year-old star added the reason she walked away from her hit TV show “Vampire Diaries” is because she did not want to get stereotyped as an artiste, reported FemaleFirst.
“I wanted to prove everyone wrong who said I would play this one role my whole life or be stuck playing younger roles. I’ve always wanted to take big risks…
“I started ‘Vampire Diaries’ when I was 20…. I grew with the show and I wanted to continue to grow outside of it. Mentally, it was a crazy time. I was 27 when I left the show. I was ready to do something different,” Dobrev said.
The actor will next be seen in the reboot of cult 1990 movie “Flatliners”. (PTI)
