NOWSHERA, Oct 3: MLA Nowshera, Ravinder Raina today visited the remote village Pind Tallian in Panchyat Channi and announced Rs 28 lakh for the development of various works like, construction of link road to Pind Tallian, culvert at Gramble and construction of bowali in the village.
Accompanied by the officers of Rural Development Department (RDD), BJP district vice president and Sarpanch Balkrishan, MLA Ravinder Raina visited the remote area of his constituency.
Addressing the gathering Raina said that he is trying hard for the betterment of the poor people so that they may get justice. He said there are so many villages in Nowshera-Sunderbani constituency which lack the basics amenities like road, water and electricity and he is making all efforts to meet out the problems being faced by the poor and the deprived people.
Raina further said that the schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi like Pradhan Mantri Awas Youjna (PMAY), Marriage Assistance Scheme for BPL girls, enhancements of pensions to poor under various Schemes under Social Warfare Department are the historic steps for the poor people.
He said Pradhan Mantri Ujawala Youjna, providing free LPG connection to the women belonging to the poor families has uplifted the living standard of poor families.
