UDHAMPUR, Oct 4: Nine persons were injured when an Eco van, they were travelling in, rolled down in a deep gorge at Narsoo in Chenani.
The accident took place late last night around 1.55hrs and the Eco van, bearing registration number JK03B-9658, was on way from Kashmir to Jammu. Police shifted the injured persons to CHC Chenani where doctors referred three of them to GMC Hospital Jammu. They were identified as Munir ul Haq (22), son of Manzoor Alam, Sharif ul Haq (20), son of Manzoor Alam and Mohd Saraj (25), son of Mohd Hanief, all of Bansabari Distt.Katihar Bihar the other, undergoing treatment at CHC Chenani, were identified as Uzair Ah Batt (26), son of Javed Ah Batt, Ayaz Ahmad (25) son of Gh. Hassan, both of Lazora Pulwama and Ab Qadoos (26), son of Mohd Sayeed ul Rehman, Mohd Baddar (25), son of Mohd Irshad, Ab Shaqoor (25) son of Afzal Hussain, Mohd Amzad (22), son of Mohd Samad, all of Ram Pura Dunia, Tehsil Ranipatra, distt Purnia Bihar.
