JAMMU, Nov 7: The Retired Agriculture Officers Association in its meeting here today have ridiculed the negative approach of the Administrative department which has led to their sufferings.
The meeting alleged that the retired officers of the Department are getting the pension in the grade of their initial appointment and a big share of their gratuity has not been paid to them.
The meeting in an appeal urged the Minister of Agriculture and Chairman State Public Service Commission (PSC) to hold the DPC as promised at the earliest without any further delay so that the officers affected by Govt order No 14 of 2010 in general and those of the officers who retired from service in particular are relieved of the agony they are in due to retention of huge sum of money from their pensionary benefits by the AG J&K as they are being considered to have retired on the posts they were initially appointed not taking into consideration that they have worked on much higher posts from time to time.
