JAMMU, Oct 7: The Medical Education Unit of Government Medical College, Jammu today conducted a ‘Continuing Medical Education’ (CME) on ‘Scientific Papers/ Synopsis/ Thesis Writing’ in the auditorium of Government Medical College, Jammu.
This was followed by an interactive lecture by Dr Vishal Tandon, Associate Professor, Government Medical College, Jammu.
All Post Graduate, Under Graduate, students, Demonstrators, Registrars and faculty members of the Government Medical College, Jammu attended the CME.
The Lecture was held especially for those Post Graduate students, who are due for synopsis writing and thesis writing.
In the CME, guidelines laid down by the University of Jammu were deliberated for the benefit of Post Graduate students from various Specialties.
Government Medical College Principal Dr Sunanda Raina said the CME was held so that Post Graduate students of the Institution follow uniform guidelines while writing their thesis, which is mandatory to be accepted for becoming eligible for their examination.
Further, such lectures will help students to learnt art of scientific writing, which will help them in future.
