KHC accuses Govt of keeping migrants issues pending

JAMMU, Oct 8: Kashmiri Hindu Conference (KHC) Executive Body in its meeting here today held under the chairmanship of M L Thusoo expressed concern that the short term issues of community are being kept pending by the authorities.
The meeting said the delaying the issuance of ration cards in favour of employees and pensioners in the category of higher income group has led to the harassment of displaced people as most of the dealers do not supply ration on the old cards.
It said the grants for the payment of arrears in favour of the displaced teachers and other employees are not released despite the fact that clear instructions were issued by the judiciary regarding release of HRA and CCA in favour of the displaced employees.
The allotment of accommodation in favour of employees appointed under PM package is a grave problem for themin Valley.
