Extend rights to Parliament to frame laws on J&K: Mankotia

DODA/RAMBAN, Oct 14: Taking out large  Tiranga rally to erstwhile Doda district, former MLA and NPP president, Balwant Singh Mankotia today asked the Central Government to extend rights to Parliament of country to frame laws on Jammu and Kashmir.
“Until rights would not be extended to lawmakers of the country, dream of one nation one law could not be fulfilled,” Mankotia maintained.
After successfully conducting Tiranga rally in twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch, NPP president carried forward the rally to hilly erstwhile Doda  district of Jammu region on the eve of Accession day.
While addressing the gathering at Ramban and then at Doda, Balwant Singh Mankotia said that party has started Tiranga rally on the eve of Accession day on  October 8 from Samba and organized rallies at Reasi, Udhampur, Rajouri and Poonch district and on Saturday reached at Ramban and Doda district.
Mankotia said that until rights to frame laws on Jammu and Kashmir would not be extended to Parliament of the country, dream of one nation, one constitution cannot be fulfilled. He said  Oct 27, 1947 is an historic day for us when people of the State get right to become the citizens of this great country.
NPP demands that Accession Day would be celebrated at Government level like January 26 and  August 15 and people should celebrate this day like Diwali, Eid and Gurpurab. On the occasion, BSP leaders Sohail Mohammed and Prithvi Raj Bhagat (gen secy) along with Ramban district unit and supporters joined the Panthers Party and NPP president welcomed them in party fold. During Tiranga rally, Ranjeet Sharma, Rajinder Bali, Parshotam Parihar, Gagan Partap Singh, Seva Singh Bali also addressed the gatherings.
