Yudhvir releases Seema Mohan’s book on education

JAMMU, Oct 16: BJP vice president, Yudhvir Sethi today said that India is focussing on education sector in a big way and ensuring that girls are provided with equal opportunities in education. He said girls’ education is necessary for making the homes a happy place who, in turn can brighten the future of their country by upbringing of their children in a healthy way.
Sethi was speaking after inaugurating a book titled ‘Education in Indian Perspective ‘ written by Seema Mohan, Principal, Vimal Muni College of Education, Anita Gupta and Madhu Bashan here, today. Published by AADEE Publication the book contains Constitutional provisions regarding education in India.
He said it helps to understand the fundamentals in the discipline of education from the philosophical and sociological perspectives. It also describes the basis of teacher and education in India and the various aspects related to the teacher and education in the changing contemporary society. Sethi said that education gives a woman freedom of thought.  It broadens her outlook and makes her aware of her duties and responsibilities.
He hoped that the book will be an insight into education system and help readers understand Constitutional provisions regarding education in India well.
