UDHAMPUR, Oct 24: MLA Udhampur, Pawan Gupta today kick-started black-topping work on Gandala- Bali road.
The MLA was warmly welcomed by the locals of Gandala on his arrival under the leadership of Ex- Sarpanch Krishan Singh. On this occasion, a local Prabhu Dayal disclosed that the people of Gandala – Bali area were facing multiple problems including road.
During last Assembly elections Pawan Gupta had made a commitment with the people of Gandala – Bali area for the construction of five kilometer road. Gupta has fulfilled his commitment made with the people.
While addressing the gathering, MLA expressed that the 5 kilometer Gandala to Bali road is being constructed with the cost of Rs 5 crore. He also disclosed that the road will be widened.
Gupta further expressed that development of his Udhampur Assembly Constituency is his priority for which people have given their mandate. He also disclosed that the black topping work of 8 kilometer road from Sambal Danga near the residence of Deputy Commissioner to Tirshi with the cost of Rs 8 crore will begin soon.
He also assured the locals that other issues highlighted by them will be sorted out very soon and concerned authorities of administration will be conveyed as soon as possible. On this occasion, Raj Kumar Bucha and Youth leader Rohit Sethi were also present.
