JAMMU, Nov 10: A 30-year-old man today set himself ablaze at his residence in Channi Himmat area here.
Police spokesman said that, Sudesh Kumar of Channi Himmat, self-immolated after pouring kerosene on himself this afternoon.
Locals immediately rushed to his rescue, doused the flames and shifted him to Government medical college and hospital (GMCH), with 60 per cent burn injuries.
However, the reason behind such extreme step could not be ascertained, while, a case has been registered and investigation started.
