JAMMU, Oct 25: Under Udaan Scheme- a programme of Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, implemented by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), a two-day placement drive was organized by the Centre of Information, Career Counselling and Placement (CICCP) of GGM Science College, Jammu.
Five companies; Roman Technology, Surya Wires, Quess Corporation, IL & FS and Experts IT representing various sectors like construction, IT Computer, Retails, Banking and Android Development took part in the placement drive. In this mega event, about 120 students participated and out of which 94 were shortlisted.
The event was organized under the supervision Prof Subash K Samyal and Er Ajay Pal Singh, Mobilization Officer NSDC Dr Satinder Singh, Nodal Principal, GGM Science College, Jammu appreciated the efforts of the CICCP as well as team from the Udaan for organizing such a mega placement event for the students of the State in general and of the college in particular.

Representatives from different companies and officials from Udaan had a high word of appreciation for best required infrastructure provided by the College. Under graduate students of the college were also given the opportunity to interact with the representatives of the participating companies A similar drive is proposed for the College final year students after their Sem end examinations.
