DyCM asks German diplomat for doing away with travel advisories on J&K

SRINAGAR, Oct 25: Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh today asked the visiting German diplomat to take up the matter of doing away with negative travel advisories for German tourists.
The Deputy Chief Minister was interacting with the German Political Minister, Arno Holger Kirchof, who called on him.
While discussing the overall scenario with the German diplomat, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the situation in the State has improved a lot and the Government is continuing with its developmental agenda. He said major headways have been achieved in catalyzing the developmental scenario in the State.
Dr. Singh, while referring to the tremendous hydro-electric potential of the State asked the German diplomat to devise certain means by which Germany can also contribute its bit in uplifting this by way of providing technological interventions and also the requisite investments.
