JAMMU, Oct 25: Pounichack police arrested a shopkeeper along with illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Pounichack Police Post conducted raid in a shop at Bhagatpura and arrested the shopkeeper along with 15 pouches of illicit liquor, which he was serving to the customers.
The arrested person has been identified as Makhan Lal, son of Vilayat Ram, a resident of Bhadhrore.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Domana Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Pounichack Police Post SI Arun Salathia made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector RS Rana, SDPO Domana Verinder Singh and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
