JKGB hands over PMSBY claim to nominee in village Mandaal

JAMMU, Oct 26: J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB) organised a programme to hand over PMSBY claim to nominee of an insurer, Vyasho Devi, in village Mandaal of city outskirts.
Mukul Mehta, Private Secretary to Chairman, JKGB, RK Chibber, was the chief guest on the occasion. The lump sum amount of Rs 2 lakh regarding PMSBY claim was handed over to the nominee by Sarpanches of the area namely Saudagar Singh Saini, Bishan Dass and Gulzar Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, KL Sharma, Regional Manager, Jammu spoke at length about the ongoing JKGB Festival Bonanza – 2017 with a special offer of rebate in rate of interest of 0.5% for two wheeler loans for females and no processing charges on car, housing and two wheeler loans.
Vipan Gupta, Senior Manager, Micro Finance & Financial Inclusion (MF&FI) Department, JKGB, informed about the benefits of social security schemes namely (PMJJBY) Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, (PMSBY) Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and (APY) Atal Pension Yojana. The thrust was also given on various IT products like RuPay cards, SMS Alerts, NEFT/ RTGS and Immediate Payment services (IMPS).
MF&FI Department of JKGB under the chairmanship of RK Chhibber is conducting a State wide campaign regarding social security schemes including PMSBY and PMJJBY wherein the people are insured at a nominal premium of Rs 12 and Rs 330, respectively.
