NPSU protests for CBI probe into appointments by PSC

JAMMU, Oct 26: Demanding CBI inquiry into all the appointments made by PSC from last 18 months, NPSU activists today held a protest demonstration.
The protesters also torched an effigy of the PSC Chairman and raised slogans in support of their demand of CBI inquiry.
The protest was led by Th Virender Singh, State president NPSU, who said that discrimination with youth of Jammu was evident in diverse department that have crossed every limit of tolerance. “Every list published by PSC is evidence of discrimination with youth of Jammu; if we talk about Assistant Professors, 10 + 2 Lectures, Revenue Department, Police Department, Forest Department and many others. With every selection list there is huge hue and cry among the meritorious youth of Jammu that why Jammu is ignored in every sphere, and what sin Jammu youth have done,” he added.
Singh demanded CBI inquiry so that the reasons of discrimination may be known. “Soon a petition will be sent to Prime Minister of India regarding this grave discrimination in employment and all spheres of life with Jammu youth,” he informed and also criticized the BJP MLAs for doing nothing for the meritorious students of Jammu.
Among those who participated in the protest demonstration, included Lovely Singh, Rishi Badyal, Chetan Sharma, Shubam Sharma, Asha Rani, Danish, Raman and others.
