POONCH, Oct 28: An Army jawan was injured in an accidental fire in a forward location of Balakote area of Poonch sector today.
Official sources said that L/Naik, Abdul Haq of 15 JAKLI received bullet injury on his left upper portion of arm and was seriously injured while patrolling in Tarkundi area of Balakote near the Line of Control. He was rushed to Unit hospital at Bhimber Gali and then referred to Army Hospital Rajouri. His condition was stated to be stable now.
