JAMMU, Oct 28: A hutment turned into ashes when it caught fire under mysterious circumstances in Kiryani Talab area, falling under the jurisdiction of Narwal Police Post.
As per police sources, a fire broke out this morning in a hutment belonging to Fatima Begum, wife of late Khabir in Kiryani Talab area of Narwal.
The structure gutted in fire while no injury or loss of life was reported in the incident.
Short circuit is probably the reason behind the fire, sources said, adding that the flames were timely doused with the assistance of fire fighters and prevented from spreading to nearby structures.
Narwal police has taken cognizance in this regard.
