DUDU, Oct 28: A medical camp with the provision of hearing- aids was organised in remote area of Latti tehsil headquarters in Dudu Sub Division of district Udhampur today.
The camp was inaugurated by chairman Latti Development Committee, Kasturi Lal Gupta, in presence of Naib Tehsildar, Latti Nassir Hussain Tak besides other officials and prominent persons of the area. A Kanpur based NGO organised this camp in collaboration with the District and Sub Divisional Administration at Primary Health Centre Latti.
A total 85 persons/ patients were selected for provision of hearing- aid besides eye check up/ operation and other ailments. They were provided hearing aids, glasses, sticks and other items besides medicines. The medical team from PHC Latti was also involved in the conduct of this camp, under the guidance of DC Udhampur.
The people/ patients from remote area of Dudu, Jakhed, Latti, Pattangarh etc attended the camp. The locals lauded the initiative of District Administration for holding this first ever such camp in this remote belt of district Udhampur.
