JAMMU, Oct 28: A two days free eye check up camp was organized by Center for Eye Sight, Rehari Jammu in association with Traders Federation Ware House/Nehru Market on October 27 and 28 at Ware House Jammu.
About 500 patients were examined and free medicines and glasses were distributed to the needy patients. Nearly 50 patients were selected for cataract surgery which will be operated at the Centre for Eye Sight at 50% discount.
The patients were examined by Dr Sudesh Raina, Dr Farah Deeba, Dr Deepak Bhat, Dr Shaheeb and assisted by other technical staff. The camp held under the overall supervision of CEO of the Center Sandeep Mengi and was facilitated by Traders Federation president Rajesh Gupta, senior vice president Ashok Gupta, junior vice president D P Gupta, general secretary Deepak Gupta, secretary Munish Gupta and cashier Rahul Gupta.
