Bovines smuggling bid foiled, 2 arrested

JAMMU, Oct 29: Sidhra police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing three cattle and arresting two persons.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Sidhra Police Post laid a naka and intercepted a Srinagar bound Tata Mobile.
During checking, police rescued three cattle from the vehicle and arrested two bovines smugglers, who have been identified as Abdul Sitar, son of Mohammad Yaqoob, a resident of Bhatindi and Ibrar-ul-Haq, son of Ghulam Mohammad, a resident of Chanderkote, district Ramban.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Nagrota Police Station and investigation started.
