JAMMU, Nov 3: There has been widespread condemnation to the killing of BJYM leader Gowhar Hussian Bhat who was killed by terrorists in Kashmir valley yesterday.
Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh has condemned killing of Gowhar Hussian Bhat, district president BJYM Shopian who was killed by terrorists yesterday in Shopian.
In a message, Dr Singh said that the heinous crime perpetrated by elements trying to push the State into chaos and confusion will not be tolerated and they would be dealt with sternly.
Led by BJP MLA Ravinder Raina, the protesters held the marches in the border towns of Sunderbani and Nowshera, and staged demonstrations amid the chanting of anti-Pakistan and anti-militants slogans.
They also burnt the flag of Pakistan in both the places.
“The martyrdom of Gowhar will not go waste. It will be the last nail in the coffin of the militancy sponsored by Pakistan in Kashmir,” he said.
Advocates of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Jammu under the leadership of Gurdev Singh Thakur Advocate and State secretary BJYM J&K organised a strong protest against the Pakistan and terrorists for the brutal murder of the young and dynamic leader who was also president of the Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) district Shopian. While talking to the media persons Gurdev Singh Thakur strongly condemned the innocent killing by the terrorists in Shopian district of Kashmir who was a dedicated and strong worker of the party and also demanded that Central Government should take stern action against the terrorists as well as their ground workers.
At a press conference at Party’s State Headquarters, BJYM State President Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra along with BJYM State general secretaries Tarun Sharma and Vikas Choudhary strongly condemned the killing of its Shopian district president Gowhar Hussain Bhat.
Mangotra said that all the people of the country are with the bereaved family who have lost their brave son who have chosen a path of peace and have given his life for the future of a peaceful and prosperous Kashmir. He said that our party stands firmly with the family of martyr Gowhar Ahmad in this moment of immense grief.
Condemning killing of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha district president, Shopian, Gowhar Hussain Bhat, senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi today said that this was nothing but an act of frustration and cowardice on the part of militants who are averse to peace and development in Kashmir valley. These people, he said want unrest to continue in Kashmir so that they could grind their own axe but that’s not going to happen now”.
BJYM national Executive Member ,Bharat Sharma has also expressed his profound grief and shock over the killing of a young and dynamic leader of his organization by terrorists in Kashmir Valley.
