JAMMU, Nov 4: A meeting of the displaced Medical Pensioners Welfare Forum was held here today under the chairmanship of P K Koul.
The meeting which was addressed by P K Peshin also urged the State Government to concede the long pending demands of the pensioners.
The meeting demanded enhancement of Medical Allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month as the prices of medicines have increased a lot.
It also demanded release of DA installment from July in favour of employees and pensioners.
