CHENNAI, Nov 6: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today condoled the death of senior Journalist ande Madras Union of Journalists (MUJ) General Secretary R Mohan, who died here yesterday following a heart attack.
Participating in the platinum jubilee celebrations of leading Tamil daily ‘Daily Thanthi’ here, Mr Modi said ”my condolences to the death of journalist R Mohan”.
Mr MOhan, who is working in Tamil daily Dinakaran, suffered a massive heart attack yesterday morning. He was taken to a private hospital, where he was declared dead. His body was taken to his native place in Vellore district for last rites.
Various media associations, state Minister and political party leaders condoled the death of Mr Mohan and offered their condolences to the members of the bereaved family. (AGENCIES)
