RAJOURI, Nov 11: School of Management Studies, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Rajouri organized Leadership Conclave -2017.
The idea of holding the Leadership Conclave was to felicitate the young and promising entrepreneurs of the State who made a mark in their life by promoting entrepreneurship.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Javaid Mussarat, Vice Chancellor (VC), BGSBU, expressed his profound joy and gratitude towards the young entrepreneurs who have taken up entrepreneurship as a career option. He stressed upon the clarity of vision and purposeful mission to become future global business leaders.
Prof Mussarat assured the studies that university will provide all the necessary inputs to the aspiring entrepreneurs to become global business leaders. He highlighted various initiatives taken up the university to promote research and innovation in the field of science and technology.
Earlier in the day, Prof Naseem Ahmed, Dean, School Of Management Studies, while welcoming the guests, highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in the context of Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted the achievements of the School of Management Studies in terms of quality education , research and placements.
The entrepreneurs who were awarded with Leadership Awara-2017 include Abdul Hamid Bhat, chairman, Rahim Moters, Roohi Nazki, owner of Chai Jaai, Javid Parsa (Parsa’s Food), Omira and Beenish (Craft World Kashmir), Sayed Tabasum (Women’s Gallery), Shahid Rashid Bhat and Mohsin Andrabi (SRB Designs), Sidarth Gupta (INR Deals), Vibhav Sharma (Travelers Dost), Arush Gupta via ENS, Sougiya Kapoor (Ehan Design), Tahir Jarral (Jarral Printers) and Firdous Qazi (Arif Fruit Agency).
Prof Shuja-u-Din, Director, School of Bio Sciences, Dr Asrar Gous, Director CHTM, Qurashi, financial advisor to VC, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof Parviz Iqbal and Danish Iqbal Raina, Assistant Professor of the School, were also present.
Proceedings of the program were conducted by Atif Qazi, Sabiha Mufti and Azra Mufti. Three interaction sessions were held in which entrepreneurs shared the success stories with students.
