UDHAMPUR, Nov 14: A man allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at Sudh Mahadev, tehsil Chenani.
As per reports, Manzoor Ahmed, son of Mohd Iqbal of Sudh Mahadev, tehsil Chenani, allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence, late last night.
Noticing him unconscious, family members shifted him to Government Dispensary, Sudh Mahadev, later referred to District Hospital Udhampur, where he failed to respond to the treatment and breathed his last.
The reason behind such extreme step could not be ascertained, while, a case under relevant Sections has been registered and investigation started.
