4 injured as Sumo plunges into gorge

KISHTWAR, Nov 15: Four persons were injured, when the Tata Sumo they were traveling in skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Mattoo Mohallah on Pasarkoot road, falling under the jurisdiction of Chatroo Police Station.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK08A 6215 was on its way to Chatroo area, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it landed into a gorge, causing injuries to the four passengers on board.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Kishtwar, where their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
The injured have been identified as Ghulam Hussain (25), son of Gulbdin of Kotuwara, Sandeep Kumar (28), son of Faqir Chand of Kotuwara, Mohan Singh (28), son of Gandaram Singh of District Samba and Ram Krishan (32), son of Som Nath of Kharyan.
Chatroo police has taken cognizance in this regard.
