NEW DELHI, Nov 14: Mentha oil prices fell by Rs 6.70 to Rs 1204.90 per kg in futures trading today as traders trimmed their positions, driven by subdued spot demand.
Increased arrivals from Chandousi in Uttar Pradesh also put pressure on mentha oil prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in December weakened by Rs 6.70, or 0.44 per cent to Rs 1,204.90 per kg in business turnover of 111 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in November traded lower by Rs 4, or 0.33 per cent, to Rs 1,191.20 per kg in 331 lots.
Market analysts said traders trimmed their positions on the back of sluggish demand in the spot market mainly led to fall in mentha oil prices at futures market. (PTI)
