Notorious drug peddler arrested with ganja

JAMMU, Nov 16: Narwal police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a notorious drug peddler along with ganja.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Narwal Police Post laid a naka at Rajeev Nagar and arrested a notorious drug peddler along with eight kilograms of ganja.
The arrested person has been identified as Raj Kumar Ravidas, son of late Jahuri Ravidas, a resident of Bihar.
The consignment was meant to be sold among the youth and with his arrest Narwal police achieved success to save youth from becoming drug addicts.
A case under FIR Number 269/17 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered against the accused at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Narwal Police Post SI Vikram Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Parvez Sajjad, SDPO East Arun Jamwal and SP South Sandeep Choudhary.
