SRINAGAR, Nov 15: A police Head Constable was injured when an anti-narcotic team of police and other agencies was attacked by some miscreants in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district.
A police spokesman said that a team of police along with anti-narcotic agencies while carrying out search near Donipora Tulkhan, Bijbehara were attacked by unidentified persons. Head Constable Ghulam Jeelani received head injuries in the attack and was shifted to SKIMS Soura, for treatment where his condition was stated to be stable. The miscreants also snatched an AK 47 magazine of SPO Mushtaq Ahmad.
Police has registered a case in this regard and has launched manhunt for the culprits responsible for the attack.
