AMRITSAR, Nov 20: Dr Jasbir Singh Sarna’s book “Adabnaama” was released by Jathedaar of Shri Akal Takht Sahib, Gyaani Gurbachan Singh in Shri Akal Takht Sahib secretariat.
While speaking on the occasion, Singh Sahib said that Dr Sarna has done admiring work in Sikh history and lexiography. This book deals with about 200 literary personalities viz famous historians, thinkers, scholars, poets, authors, politicians, scientists, sportspersons etc. of Khalsa College.
Sikh intellectual, Diljit Singh Bedi, on the occasion, said that the book is a literary milestone in the history of Khalsa College Amritsar. It contains invaluable information about the literary personalities from 19th century till date.
Dr Sarna has 40 books to his credit. He is the recipient of J&K Academy Award, Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha Award (Punjab Government Award), Bhai Nand Lal Goya Award, etc.
