RAMBAN, Nov 21: Dharamkund police rescued a kidnapped minor girl from Jammu.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by the family members of a 14-year-old girl with Police Station Dharamkund stating that their daughter has been kidnapped by Kaka, son of Abdul Gani, a resident of Gole Gujral Jammu.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 28/17 under Section 363 RPC was registered at Dharamkund Police Station and investigation started.
On specific information, a team from Dharamkund Police Station rescued the kidnapped girl from Jammu, while the accused managed to escape from the spot.
After completing legal formalities, the girl has been handed over to family members.
Hunt was going on to arrest the accused, when last reports were compiled.
