RAJOURI, Nov 15: In an endeavour to provide an impetus to education facilities in far flung areas, the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Samote under the aegis of Uniform Force provided furniture items to the Government Primary School, Nandkote, Mahore.
The Officiating Commanding Officer handed over the furniture and another utility item to the Headmaster of Government Primary school, Nandkote as part of the ‘Sadbhavana’ activities. The school is imparting education to more than 165 students living in Nandkote and its adjoining areas.
Speaking on the occasion, the Officiating Commanding Officer, Rashtriya Rifles said that the Armed forces have been at the forefront of carrying out development works in underprivileged areas of the State and assured every assistance to the students in remote villages of the area.
