JAMMU, Nov 22: A youth today succumbed to his burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police official, the youth identified as Rakesh Kumar (25) son of Varinder Kumar, a resident of Gurha Brahmana, was shifted here at GMCH yesterday after he suffered about 50% burn injuries at her residence due to unknown reasons.
However, the youth succumbed to his injuries today at about 1.30 PM. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. Akhnoor police had taken cognizance of the matter.
